And Moses returned unto the LORD, and said, Lord, wherefore hast thou so evil entreated this people? why is it that thou hast sent me?
Exodus 5:23For since I came to Pharaoh to speak in thy name, he hath done evil to this people; neither hast thou delivered thy people at all.
Exodus 16:8And Moses said, This shall be, when the LORD shall give you in the evening flesh to eat, and in the morning bread to the full; for that the LORD heareth your murmurings which ye murmur against him: and what are we? your murmurings are not against us, but against the LORD.
Exodus 16:12I have heard the murmurings of the children of Israel: speak unto them, saying, At even ye shall eat flesh, and in the morning ye shall be filled with bread; and ye shall know that I am the LORD your God.
Numbers 14:26And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,
Numbers 14:27How long shall I bear with this evil congregation, which murmur against me? I have heard the murmurings of the children of Israel, which they murmur against me.
Numbers 14:28Say unto them, As truly as I live, saith the LORD, as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you:
Numbers 14:29Your carcases shall fall in this wilderness; and all that were numbered of you, according to your whole number, from twenty years old and upward, which have murmured against me,
Numbers 14:30Doubtless ye shall not come into the land, concerning which I sware to make you dwell therein, save Caleb the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua the son of Nun.
Numbers 14:31But your little ones, which ye said should be a prey, them will I bring in, and they shall know the land which ye have despised.
Numbers 14:32But as for you, your carcases, they shall fall in this wilderness.
Numbers 14:33And your children shall wander in the wilderness forty years, and bear your whoredoms, until your carcases be wasted in the wilderness.
Numbers 14:34After the number of the days in which ye searched the land, even forty days, each day for a year, shall ye bear your iniquities, even forty years, and ye shall know my breach of promise.
Numbers 14:35I the LORD have said, I will surely do it unto all this evil congregation, that are gathered together against me: in this wilderness they shall be consumed, and there they shall die.
Numbers 14:36And the men, which Moses sent to search the land, who returned, and made all the congregation to murmur against him, by bringing up a slander upon the land,
Numbers 14:37Even those men that did bring up the evil report upon the land, died by the plague before the LORD.
Numbers 17:10And the LORD said unto Moses, Bring Aaron's rod again before the testimony, to be kept for a token against the rebels; and thou shalt quite take away their murmurings from me, that they die not.
Numbers 17:11And Moses did so: as the LORD commanded him, so did he.

Psalms 44:16For the voice of him that reproacheth and blasphemeth; by reason of the enemy and avenger.
Psalms 44:17All this is come upon us; yet have we not forgotten thee, neither have we dealt falsely in thy covenant.
Psalms 44:18Our heart is not turned back, neither have our steps declined from thy way;
Psalms 44:19Though thou hast sore broken us in the place of dragons, and covered us with the shadow of death.
Psalms 44:20If we have forgotten the name of our God, or stretched out our hands to a strange god;
Psalms 44:21Shall not God search this out? for he knoweth the secrets of the heart.
Psalms 44:22Yea, for thy sake are we killed all the day long; we are counted as sheep for the slaughter.
Psalms 44:23Awake, why sleepest thou, O Lord? arise, cast us not off for ever.
Psalms 44:24Wherefore hidest thou thy face, and forgettest our affliction and our oppression?
Psalms 44:25For our soul is bowed down to the dust: our belly cleaveth unto the earth.
Psalms 44:26Arise for our help, and redeem us for thy mercies' sake.
Psalms 73:13Verily I have cleansed my heart in vain, and washed my hands in innocency.
