Wherefore didst thou flee away secretly, and steal away from me; and didst not tell me, that I might have sent thee away with mirth, and with songs, with tabret, and with harp?
Exodus 15:1Then sang Moses and the children of Israel this song unto the LORD, and spake, saying, I will sing unto the LORD, for he hath triumphed gloriously: the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea.
Exodus 15:20And Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took a timbrel in her hand; and all the women went out after her with timbrels and with dances.
Exodus 15:21And Miriam answered them, Sing ye to the LORD, for he hath triumphed gloriously; the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea.
Exodus 21:17And he that curseth his father, or his mother, shall surely be put to death.
Exodus 21:18And if men strive together, and one smite another with a stone, or with his fist, and he die not, but keepeth his bed:
Exodus 21:19If he rise again, and walk abroad upon his staff, then shall he that smote him be quit: only he shall pay for the loss of his time, and shall cause him to be thoroughly healed.
Exodus 21:20And if a man smite his servant, or his maid, with a rod, and he die under his hand; he shall be surely punished.
Judges 5:1Then sang Deborah and Barak the son of Abinoam on that day, saying,
Judges 5:2Praise ye the LORD for the avenging of Israel, when the people willingly offered themselves.
Judges 5:3Hear, O ye kings; give ear, O ye princes; I, even I, will sing unto the LORD; I will sing praise to the LORD God of Israel.
Judges 11:34And Jephthah came to Mizpeh unto his house, and, behold, his daughter came out to meet him with timbrels and with dances: and she was his only child; beside her he had neither son nor daughter.

1 Chronicles 15:18And with them their brethren of the second degree, Zechariah, Ben, and Jaaziel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Unni, Eliab, and Benaiah, and Maaseiah, and Mattithiah, and Elipheleh, and Mikneiah, and Obededom, and Jeiel, the porters.
1 Chronicles 15:19So the singers, Heman, Asaph, and Ethan, were appointed to sound with cymbals of brass;
1 Chronicles 15:20And Zechariah, and Aziel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Unni, and Eliab, and Maaseiah, and Benaiah, with psalteries on Alamoth;
1 Chronicles 15:21And Mattithiah, and Elipheleh, and Mikneiah, and Obededom, and Jeiel, and Azaziah, with harps on the Sheminith to excel.
1 Chronicles 15:22And Chenaniah, chief of the Levites, was for song: he instructed about the song, because he was skilful.
1 Chronicles 15:24And Shebaniah, and Jehoshaphat, and Nethaneel, and Amasai, and Zechariah, and Benaiah, and Eliezer, the priests, did blow with the trumpets before the ark of God: and Obededom and Jehiah were doorkeepers for the ark.
1 Chronicles 15:27And David was clothed with a robe of fine linen, and all the Levites that bare the ark, and the singers, and Chenaniah the master of the song with the singers: David also had upon him an ephod of linen.
1 Chronicles 15:28Thus all Israel brought up the ark of the covenant of the LORD with shouting, and with sound of the cornet, and with trumpets, and with cymbals, making a noise with psalteries and harps.
1 Chronicles 16:4And he appointed certain of the Levites to minister before the ark of the LORD, and to record, and to thank and praise the LORD God of Israel:
1 Chronicles 16:5Asaph the chief, and next to him Zechariah, Jeiel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Mattithiah, and Eliab, and Benaiah, and Obededom: and Jeiel with psalteries and with harps; but Asaph made a sound with cymbals;
1 Chronicles 16:6Benaiah also and Jahaziel the priests with trumpets continually before the ark of the covenant of God.
1 Chronicles 16:7Then on that day David delivered first this psalm to thank the LORD into the hand of Asaph and his brethren.
1 Chronicles 16:8Give thanks unto the LORD, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the people.
1 Chronicles 16:9Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him, talk ye of all his wondrous works.
1 Chronicles 16:10Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD.
1 Chronicles 16:11Seek the LORD and his strength, seek his face continually.
1 Chronicles 16:12Remember his marvellous works that he hath done, his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth;
1 Chronicles 16:13O ye seed of Israel his servant, ye children of Jacob, his chosen ones.
1 Chronicles 16:14He is the LORD our God; his judgments are in all the earth.
1 Chronicles 16:15Be ye mindful always of his covenant; the word which he commanded to a thousand generations;
1 Chronicles 16:16Even of the covenant which he made with Abraham, and of his oath unto Isaac;
1 Chronicles 16:17And hath confirmed the same to Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant,
1 Chronicles 16:18Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance;
1 Chronicles 16:19When ye were but few, even a few, and strangers in it.
1 Chronicles 16:20And when they went from nation to nation, and from one kingdom to another people;
1 Chronicles 16:21He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes,
1 Chronicles 16:22Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.
1 Chronicles 16:23Sing unto the LORD, all the earth; shew forth from day to day his salvation.
1 Chronicles 16:24Declare his glory among the heathen; his marvellous works among all nations.
1 Chronicles 16:25For great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised: he also is to be feared above all gods.
