Now for a long season Israel hath been without the true God, and without a teaching priest, and without law.
2 Chronicles 17:7Also in the third year of his reign he sent to his princes, even to Benhail, and to Obadiah, and to Zechariah, and to Nethaneel, and to Michaiah, to teach in the cities of Judah.

2 Chronicles 17:9And they taught in Judah, and had the book of the law of the LORD with them, and went about throughout all the cities of Judah, and taught the people.

Psalms 78:4We will not hide them from their children, shewing to the generation to come the praises of the LORD, and his strength, and his wonderful works that he hath done.
Psalms 78:5For he established a testimony in Jacob, and appointed a law in Israel, which he commanded our fathers, that they should make them known to their children:
Psalms 78:6That the generation to come might know them, even the children which should be born; who should arise and declare them to their children:
Psalms 78:7That they might set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God, but keep his commandments:
Psalms 78:8And might not be as their fathers, a stubborn and rebellious generation; a generation that set not their heart aright, and whose spirit was not stedfast with God.
Psalms 119:3They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways.
Psalms 119:4Thou hast commanded us to keep thy precepts diligently.
Psalms 119:5O that my ways were directed to keep thy statutes!

Psalms 119:11Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.
Psalms 119:12Blessed art thou, O LORD: teach me thy statutes.
Psalms 119:13With my lips have I declared all the judgments of thy mouth.
Psalms 119:14I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies, as much as in all riches.
Psalms 119:15I will meditate in thy precepts, and have respect unto thy ways.
Psalms 119:16I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word.
Psalms 119:17GIMEL. Deal bountifully with thy servant, that I may live, and keep thy word.
Psalms 119:18Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.
Psalms 119:19I am a stranger in the earth: hide not thy commandments from me.
Psalms 119:20My soul breaketh for the longing that it hath unto thy judgments at all times.
Psalms 119:21Thou hast rebuked the proud that are cursed, which do err from thy commandments.
Psalms 119:22Remove from me reproach and contempt; for I have kept thy testimonies.
Psalms 119:23Princes also did sit and speak against me: but thy servant did meditate in thy statutes.
Psalms 119:24Thy testimonies also are my delight and my counsellors.
Psalms 119:25DALETH. My soul cleaveth unto the dust: quicken thou me according to thy word.
Psalms 119:26I have declared my ways, and thou heardest me: teach me thy statutes.
Psalms 119:27Make me to understand the way of thy precepts: so shall I talk of thy wondrous works.
Psalms 119:28My soul melteth for heaviness: strengthen thou me according unto thy word.
Psalms 119:29Remove from me the way of lying: and grant me thy law graciously.
Psalms 119:30I have chosen the way of truth: thy judgments have I laid before me.
Psalms 119:31I have stuck unto thy testimonies: O LORD, put me not to shame.
Psalms 119:32I will run the way of thy commandments, when thou shalt enlarge my heart.
Psalms 119:33HE. Teach me, O LORD, the way of thy statutes; and I shall keep it unto the end.
Psalms 119:34Give me understanding, and I shall keep thy law; yea, I shall observe it with my whole heart.
Psalms 119:35Make me to go in the path of thy commandments; for therein do I delight.
Psalms 119:36Incline my heart unto thy testimonies, and not to covetousness.
Psalms 119:37Turn away mine eyes from beholding vanity; and quicken thou me in thy way.
Psalms 119:38Stablish thy word unto thy servant, who is devoted to thy fear.
Psalms 119:39Turn away my reproach which I fear: for thy judgments are good.
